The platform
A new platform built on proven shops.
Aircraft component repair is a business of trust earned one work order at a time. The shops that make up Aptus Aero have spent decades earning it — turning around pneumatic starters, hydraulic actuators, generators and thousands of other components for airlines, cargo operators, MROs and OEMs around the world.
In 2026, The Stephens Group formed Aptus Aero to bring these businesses together: Atlas Aerospace and EMC Aerospace, both in South Florida. Each continues to operate as its own business, with the quality and turnaround times its customers rely on — now with shared capabilities, shared inventory visibility, and a platform investing behind their growth.
How we operate
A platform that gets out of the way.
Customer obsessed.
Take care of the customer and the rest takes care of itself. Every decision starts with the operator waiting on a part.
Run locally, backed centrally.
Our general managers run their businesses day to day. The platform brings capability behind them — it does not run the shops from a corporate office.
Best idea wins.
We share problems and solutions across the platform — no mandates, no one-size-fits-all playbook.
Leadership
Led by operators.
Ownership
Backed by The Stephens Group.
The Stephens Group is a private, family-backed investment firm based in Little Rock, Arkansas, partnering with management teams to build market-leading businesses over long ownership horizons.
